The University of Rizal System is celebrating 19 years of excellence for continuously producing upright and competent graduates. Thus, further enhancing one’s skill to actively involve themselves in the field of learning, all because of the leadership given upon us by the President of the University of Rizal System.
As we enter a new decade, the University also faces an era of change as they welcome new leadership. Candidates namely, Dr. Allen U. Bautista, VPAA (2011-2012), Exc. Director, QAA (2012-2013); Dr. Nancy T. Pascual, Campus Director (2013-2017), VPAF (2017-Present); Dr. Medardo B. Bombita, Director, Admin Services (2016-Present) – battled for the seat of presidency.
On February 17, 2020, Dr. Nancy Talavera-Pascual was dubbed as the new president of the University of Rizal System after being elected by the majority of the board. On February 28, 2020, the newly-elected president formally accepted the responsibility of the University President in a turnover ceremony held at Eulogio Amang Rodriguez Tanghalang Sining in URS Morong.
The President, Dr. Nancy Talvera-Pascual is a graduate of Doctor of Education major in Guidance Counselling, Master of Arts in Guidance Counselling, and Bachelor of Science in Education major in General Science minor in English.
Her advocacy of giving value to education and quality service to the students, faculty, staff, and University of Rizal System has been her mission in her 36 years and 8 months of career progression in the field of education. She is an accomplished management professional. She has served as the Director of OSDS, Campus Director of the University of Rizal Morong, and recently the Vice President for Admin and Finance.
