The University of Rizal System Giants bagged a number of medals at the 5th STRASUC Culture and Arts Festival held at Western Philippines University in Puerto Princesa, Palawan last November 11 – 14, 2019 with the theme Celebrating Diversity and Cultural Expression.
Delegates from URS won a gold medal in Photography and a bronze medal in Bandurria. Other achievements of the University include 3rd Runner Up Festival Queen, 4th Place in Indigenous Dance, 4th Place in Show Choir, 5th Place in Radio Drama and 5th Place in Short Musical Play.
URSB Culture and Arts Coordinator Prof. JLover Trinidad, Prof. Jansen San Juan and URSB Chorale Conductor Prof. Elanie R. Emnace accompanied the delegates as they compete in their respective categories.
