Untitled I

You are the leaves,
And I am the trunk;
We will spend summer together,
Happily dancing with the wind,
Hoping that it would last.

Yet, autumn will come to end this bliss,
Slowly, you are slipping away,
I tried to make you stay,
But in just a blink of an eye,
I was already left behind.

Alone, frozen and numb,
Caused by the winter,
Covered with snow… I am missing you,
Asking, “Where are you now?”

Now, everything falls into place,
Soon you will be back,
I’ll patiently wait for you,
With my arms wide open,
As the spring starts.
