Good night

We are sitting under
the sky-covered light;
of the moon, looking—
for some empty room;
for us, for our hearts.

Wishing there are stars;
where I can whisper my thoughts, my wishes—
that I long for you to hear.

I am the sun that shines,
brighter than the smiles
that the skies give you. When everything is fading—
and losing, the colors
that keeps you living.

I am the clouds that holds—
the rain from pouring;
even thunders and lightning
I try to stop from growling
to keep you and your feet—
from trembling.

I try to tell you, but—
my voice are not as loud
as the wind as it blows;
the water on the shore

My soul is not as brave as the storm—
may ruin you in any form
My heart is beating
but it is not too selfish—
to dim your light;

Yes, it’s a dark night;
the stars are sleeping tight
I choose to say goodbye, good night.
